The Sun

I have been a nocturnal geek for about 2 weeks due to my work schedule and it has left me a bit dull and lazy. The sun has not touched my skin for quite a long time ever since I stepped into the realms of being a workaholic. Which is why I am a bit worried because Vitamin D is important for calcium absorption and I am absolutely a milk lover. Okay, what am I blabbering about again. haha

I miss the sun! No matter how I force myself that I love gloomy days or rainy days like those in movies such as twilight, Snow White and the Huntsmen or even the horror flick, The Ring, nothing beats a sunny day! It gives you a feeling that you can do anything and go anywhere you wanna go.  It shies away all the negativity around you and make you just plain happy. They say it's because of the hormone melatonin which is highest during sunny days and helps with the happy feeling.

In this mini shoot, I'm trying to be my usual self. And thanks to my ever loyal photographer, my sister, I was able to do my jumping slash dancing moves. haha. Looking at these made me miss my dancing days way back in College.

So enjoy the sun while you still can! Have fun! :)

Same Old Same Old

It's funny how nobody really changes through time even no matter how hard they try. They try to change their philosophy, their interests or even their personality but they still stay the same.

I recently got a comment from my Tita that I had the same hobby when I was still in my childhood years. I fancied dressing up when I was little using old curtains and what not, even used my mom's or Aunt's heels to look the part. It came to the point that my sister had to take the blame for the damaged shoes and heels (she even had to kneel on mung beans and salt as punishment..haha). Imagining that scene made me burst into laughter! I came to realize, I'm the same person after all, happy go lucky with life and just enjoying what life has to offer.

So smile, laugh and be who you are. Don't change yourself according to the status quo. Be different, not the same face in the crowd.

Confusion

Bianca's Top and Skirt, SM department Store doll shoes, Forme' clutch, Accessorize Diamond earings

I'm in a state of confusion.

Now that I'm done with all the exam craze and my short vacation in Bohol, I don't know what to do. I'm torn between having the laid-back life that I have ever so dreamed about and work. Sometimes I wonder, don't I ever get satisfied with anything?

But hey, enough with all the seriousness. I think I deserve a break. Four and Half years of studying gave me a sleeping disturbance which until now, I still have to overcome. So I'm saying hello to a long vacation!

Peau d'orange

Contrary to the above title which means one of the manifestations of breast cancer, I feel like it is the perfect title to describe what I am wearing today. When I saw it in Bianca's, I knew it was meant for me. I love wearing carefree dresses where you can be dainty and girly at the same time.

And what more but to pair it with blue doll shoes which I bought for a very reasonable price! My sister advised me to buy four different colors of these which cost us less than buying only one pair so it was totally a bargain!

I probably should be on a hiatus right now from blogging due to upcoming exams but I can't resist from dressing myself. It's one of the perks of being a girl and I love it!

Credits to my sister who took the photos :)

Back on track

Dress: Bianca's, Belt: Vintage, Necklace: Bianca's, Heels: Singapore brand

It's been quite a while since my last post and it's because of several reasons. First, I am currently in zombie mode with all the studying that has to be done for my up-comming NLE. Second, I am pre-occupied with my review classes. And lastly, my body is exhausted with all the over-thinking. In short, I am busy studying.  Unfortunately, there has been a recent disturbance with my study habits which I don't want to mention in public. But thanks to my ever loyal family and friends, I am able to maintain the homeostasis in my life.

So to celebrate my come back, I dressed-up with some new arrivals from the store.

And thanks to my number one fan, my Papa, who surprised me with a new camera :)

Back to studying!

Brighten My Day

Mom's old Jumpsuit, Brown Belt from Bacolod, Bianca's necklace,Carolina Herrera Sunnies, Mom's Loisir Dauphin Vintage bag

Another day spent at Tierra Alta surely brightened not only my day but my whole friggin week! I can't say much but this week has been clinging on me like a hungry zombie. I was most of all bored, frustrated with answering 800 questions and a bit sad for some unknown reason. Worse case scenario, I don't know what to do! Can somebody save me from this abyss?

On the lighter side of things, I am excited for new things coming ahead of me (*wink*) and I received some really good news this morning. Why is God so good?

Leaving you with a cute quote I read today:

"In one year of my life, I've learned that just because it was that way yesterday, it doesn't mean that it should be that way tomorrow."

Keep Dreaming

Bianca's Earings and Sequined clutch, So Fab leopard print pumps

This dress is very familiar to me because I wore it about 3 years ago in my debut. I remember how I fancied it so much during that time. And since my sister and I designed it, I love it even more. Just recently, I laid my eyes on it after rummaging my closet for dresses and thought it was high time to wear it after all these years (and also because I had nothing to wear) to my friend's debut.

Imagine a picturesque landscape under the starry night and you'd find yourself in Tierra Alta, the place to be that night. I felt at ease and breeze with the view and how the program turned out to be even though we were fabulously late. Fireworks plus the flying lanterns ended the party and it somehow brought me to another of my magical imaginations. It did "kind-of" gave ideas about my future wedding which is actually a bit sad because I am so not ready for that yet. But hey, every girl dreams of their wedding at some point in time. I'd love it to be as magical as what I felt  that night.

Well, Happy birthday again Sasha!
